UPCOMING PROJECTS

Lay-By
In November 2022, we had an opportunity to shoot a short film written by a local writer Julian White. It also gave A.G.Longhurst an opportunity to direct The Piece entitled: Lay-By.
It is a short film with links to Lucas and Albert and Babysitters and stars James Osborne and Cassandra French who both appeared in Lucas and Albert. One new cast member is Gary Hailes, and old friend of Jimmy and A.G.’s, from their days at Anna Scher. Gary is a well established actor, who has appeared in The Bill and Grange Hill but is best know for his role as Barry, the stall holder in EastEnders. Recently Gary recreated this role along with Michael Cashman who played Colin.
Production
Because of this we decided to do a test shoot and shoot some scenes for Babysitters to use as an extended trailer to help finance the productions. We shot for about five days in some terrible weather in Tendring, Essex. We had some great help from local businesses yet again, My Big Fat Greek Taverna, Beacon Hill Fort, The village Hall at Great Clacton, as well as from our unit base and hosts Cart Lodge in Point Clear. We hope that we can use more businesses like this which included Oxford Road MOT Centre and Guns, Fun and Camouflage who supplied all the weapons.

What's next?
We hope to have the colour grade finished by Spring 2023 and news on what will happen with Lucas and Albert will follow.
We want to organise a screening for the new version of Lucas and Albert and the extended trailer for Babysitters, as well as the screening for Lay-By.
Then it is all about getting funding and investment. This is a wonderful opportunity to get involved with a tried and tested company that has a proven track record.
A.G.Longhurst is already in the process of developing a series based on the two films that looks at crime from the end of World War II to the near future, that incorporates the films mentioned. Along with this, he is also writing a novel based on this as well.
Investment & Enquiries
Investments are always a risk and investing in a film projects usually always ends badly, so we will start by saying that there is no guarantee that an investor will get their money back. But after the last year nothing is definite.
But what we can guarantee is that you will be embarking on a remarkable journey that will create memories that will last a life time. Whatever level you want to invest at be it for monetary or corporate reasons or both, this is a wonderful and still a great opportunity.
